About the role
- Usability optimization: You are responsible for optimizing usability across the entire app usage lifecycle.
- Building, maintaining and evolving a design system: You ensure a consistent visual and interaction pattern across the app and work closely with Product Owner, designers and frontend developers.
- User research throughout the development process: You collect and analyze user feedback and derive actionable recommendations to improve the user experience.
- Feature conception: You create user flows, mockups and wireframes and structure new and revised features. You ensure a consistent UI/UX experience.
- Creating user stories and requirements: You develop and maintain user stories and formulate clear requirements.
- Optimization through testing: You apply A/B tests and other methods to continuously drive improvements.
- Requirements management & documentation: You ensure that product behavior is documented and traceable.
- Contributing to other tasks: As needed, you support various areas of app development and the DiGA process.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology; Human-Computer Interaction / Cognitive Science; UX Design / Interaction Design / Interface Design; Communication, Media or Information Design; Health Sciences with UX training; Social Sciences with a focus on qualitative methods)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience: - UI/UX best practices in an app context: experience in usability, ensuring consistency and implementing usability optimizations
- User Research: Designing structured questionnaires and conducting user interviews.
- Experience creating and maintaining user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Structured and independent working style: You work in an organized and self-directed manner.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving: You quickly identify challenges and find efficient solutions.
- Communication and team skills: You are a team player and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Language skills: German at native level and fluent English.
