About the role
- Manage client relationships (both internal and external) as it relates to work assigned.
- Ability to manage a high volume of individual and group air, both domestic and international.
- Provide emergency and after-hours service to travelers, especially during peak client event months.
- Coordinate communication of traveler itineraries and changes with client staff.
- Know and properly use: airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
- Know and can book car service, rental cars and hotels when needed.
- Accurately and timely data management.
- Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with the clients while representing the company.
Requirements
- Proven record of successful relationship building and maintenance
- Knowledge of Sabre or similar GDS
- Knowledge and experience of the airline industry
- Individual and group booking experience and knowledge
- Understanding of visa and country legal document requirements
- Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to produce accurate work under stress and meet ticketing deadlines.
