About the role
- Build and own production features across our stack (Next.js, React, Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS).
- Architect data models, API endpoints, and internal tools that power financing workflows.
- Work closely with design and implementation teams to translate complex clinical + financial workflows into simple, high-leverage product experiences.
- Implement best-in-class security, reliability, and compliance patterns for healthcare and financial data.
- Partner with ML/AI engineers to integrate predictive models into treatment and financing flows.
- Raise the bar for engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and mentorship.
- Help lay the foundation for Endeavor’s long-term technical architecture as we scale into multiple products and customer types.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years building production-grade full-stack applications.
- Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend systems (Rails or Node preferred). Strong SQL fundamentals.
- Ability to translate ambiguous workflows into clean user experiences and well-structured systems.
- Comfortable owning 0→1 features, working with evolving requirements, and shipping quickly without sacrificing stability.
- Understanding of secure data handling, role-based access, audit logging, and healthcare/fintech compliance considerations.
- Experience partnering with product, design, implementation, and operations teams.
- Passion for using technology to expand access to care and improve patient outcomes.
