About the role

  • Test software systems
  • review and analyze documentation, specifications and understand the business requirements
  • Involved in investigating, analyzing and writing tests for reported defects
  • Implement best practices for test automation to optimize test execution efficiency
  • Contribute to test planning and strategy
  • Collaborating with QA and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and schedules
  • Provide input on risk assessment and mitigation strategies

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of automated testing methods & frameworks
  • Experience on mobile automation
  • strong emphasis on UI testing
  • Framework and tooling include: SwiftUI, Xcode, Objective-C, GitHub, GitLab, Xcode Cloud, CI/CD pipelines
  • Supporting tools: Postman, Charles, Xcode, JIRA
  • Strong understanding of iOS design patterns is desired
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Web Services/API testing (REST API)
  • Knowledge in scripting and programming languages based on OOP
  • Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking
  • Desirable: ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications
