About the role

  • execute ECU’s federal and non-federal political, PAC and partnerships strategy
  • oversee staff at various levels within the department
  • direct and track political work with candidates and ballot initiatives
  • manage and mentor three political staff members
  • represent ECU publicly at events
  • lead and manage weekly political strategy meetings
  • maintain comprehensive budget tracking systems
  • operationalize federal and non-federal processes

Requirements

  • at least three campaign cycles of experience, including two cycles in high-level campaign leadership positions
  • extensive background in political strategy and advocacy at the national or state level
  • proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key political stakeholders
  • strong political acumen and the ability to navigate complex political landscapes
  • strong leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and collaborating across departments
