About the role
- execute ECU’s federal and non-federal political, PAC and partnerships strategy
- oversee staff at various levels within the department
- direct and track political work with candidates and ballot initiatives
- manage and mentor three political staff members
- represent ECU publicly at events
- lead and manage weekly political strategy meetings
- maintain comprehensive budget tracking systems
- operationalize federal and non-federal processes
Requirements
- at least three campaign cycles of experience, including two cycles in high-level campaign leadership positions
- extensive background in political strategy and advocacy at the national or state level
- proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key political stakeholders
- strong political acumen and the ability to navigate complex political landscapes
- strong leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and collaborating across departments
