About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You act as the link between planning, project management, subcontractors and grid operators.
You identify issues before they become critical and make independent decisions on site.
Read and evaluate technical drawings, single-line diagrams and routing plans.
Conduct on-site surveys of site conditions and existing electrical installations.
Verify the feasibility of the current plan against on-site conditions.
Coordinate subcontractors, service providers and clients on site.
Organize site setup and site facilities on a project basis.
Support project management with scheduling and construction process coordination.
Prepare regular construction progress reports for the project team.
Carry out quality checks and on-site inspections/acceptances.
Accompany protection tests, grid operator appointments and commissioning activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid electrical engineering background through vocational training, further qualification (technician/master craftsman), university degree or many years of practical experience.
Experience supporting construction projects, ideally as a site manager, lead installer or in a comparable role.
Confident manner when dealing with subcontractors and clients — the right balance of firmness and a cooperative style.
Ability to make pragmatic decisions on site while appropriately escalating risks.
Very good German skills (at least C1).
Willingness to travel within Germany.
Preferred: experience with renewable energy installations, ideally battery storage systems.
Knowledge of grid connections or medium-voltage systems.
English skills at B1 level or higher.
