About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As Construction Manager / Site Manager – Battery Storage & Grid Connection (m/f/d), you are responsible for the technical implementation of our projects on site.
You act as the link between planning, project management, subcontractors and grid operators.
You identify problems before they become critical, make independent decisions on site, and ensure that the facility can be connected by the grid operator without delay.
Reading and evaluating technical drawings, single-line diagrams and routing plans.
On-site surveys of local conditions and existing electrical installations.
Assessing execution and connection options directly on site.
Verifying the feasibility of the current planning status against the on-site reality.
Coordinating subcontractors, service providers and customers on the construction site.
Organizing site set-up on a project basis.
Supporting project management with scheduling and construction sequence coordination.
Regular preparation of construction progress reports for the project team.
Performing quality checks and on-site acceptance tests.
Accompanying protection tests, grid operator appointments and commissioning.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid electrotechnical background from vocational training, advanced training (technician, master craftsman), a degree, or many years of practical experience.
Experience supporting construction projects, ideally as a site manager, senior foreman/lead installer, or in a comparable role.
Confident appearance when dealing with subcontractors and customers – the right balance of firmness and a cooperative approach.
Ability to make pragmatic decisions on site while escalating risks appropriately.
Very good German language skills (minimum C1).
Willingness to travel within Germany.
