About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and consult with the Director of Real Estate & Express Program for full lifecycle project management of new corporate depot construction projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, contractors, landlords, municipalities, and other external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets, track project costs, provide regular reporting to senior leadership, and provide cost forecast updates during construction.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and corporate design requirements.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Plant Operations & Logistics and the Area Manager(s) to develop and implement a preventative maintenance strategy for all corporate depots.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8+ years of experience in construction project management, facilities management, commercial development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-site capital projects and maintenance programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and vendor negotiations.
  • Knowledge of building codes, occupational health & safety standards, and municipal permitting processes.
  • Experience in retail, logistics, industrial, or warehouse environments is an asset.
