About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Test and install Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance emergency responder radio coverage in buildings
  • Integrate BDA systems with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and ensure proper signaling and compliance
  • Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to project activities and progress
  • Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma is required
  • Industry experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specifications
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation
  • Experience with Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, and other system manufacturers
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
