About the role
- Collating invoices from daily mail
- Ensuring bills are properly allocated to corresponding jobs or projects
- Verifying the accuracy of bills against purchase orders
- Entering invoices for payment
- Communicating with senior accounting and finance teams regarding outstanding account balances and making payment recommendations
- Executing daily/weekly check runs
Requirements
- Must have a strong affinity for numbers and detail-oriented work
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional accounting role with payables responsibility
- Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- College degree preferred but not required
