About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Trainers to deliver high-quality training experiences.
- Create and execute a strategic training roadmap aligned with Encore’s growth, acquisitions, and operational priorities.
- Partner with Operations, IT, Data Integrity, and Application Development teams to ensure training aligns with evolving systems and procedures.
- Oversee the design and delivery of scalable training programs (in-person, virtual, and blended).
- Standardize Encore’s training methodologies, materials, and best practices.
- Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness, adoption, and impact.
- Continuously improve programs by leveraging employee feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and travel logistics for trainers supporting onboarding and M&A integrations.
- Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership on all operational training initiatives.
- Champion a culture of learning to drive operational excellence and employee engagement.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, modeling Encore’s values and fostering a sense of belonging in all training interactions.
- Build strong relationships across teams and regions, fostering collaboration and engagement.
- Reinforce building the pipeline of trainers to support growth and resiliency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or operations leadership, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
- Proven ability to build, scale, and manage training programs in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities; skilled at simplifying complex systems for diverse audiences.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, learning management systems (LMS), and training content development tools.
- Ability to travel up to 80% to Encore locations across the Northeast.
