About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and lead complex platform projects from design to deployment
Enable engineering teams with robust CI/CD capabilities through reusable patterns, automation, and security-first practices
Design scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools
Build and optimize cloud-native architectures across multiple cloud providers with cost efficiency in mind
Engineer containerized environments with advanced orchestration, networking, and security
Deliver internal platforms and self-service capabilities that improve developer experience and reduce friction
Implement observability stacks including metrics, logs, traces, and proactive alerting
Champion security and compliance across infrastructure and delivery pipelines
Architect secure, scalable networking solutions for hybrid and cloud environments
Drive continuous improvement through automation, scripting, and tooling
Lead and mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and influence technical direction
Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and plan for capacity at scale
Drive large-scale initiatives independently and shape platform strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep expertise in CI/CD, automation, and pipeline architecture
Mastery of IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and config management (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
Strong AWS architecture skills and cost optimisation strategies
Advanced containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
Hands-on experience in access control, encryption, and incident response
Solid networking knowledge, including protocols, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking
Experience integrating and optimizing software delivery ecosystems (Git, Artifactory, Jenkins)
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems and improve systems
