About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support outage planning and execution for maintenance and capital projects with Project Execution and Operations teams
- Conduct field verifications and gather technical documentation
- Assist with engineering work packages, design reviews, tie-in planning, outage scoping, and work sequencing
- Provide technical support for procurement, quality reviews, stakeholder communication, and resolution of routine project issues
- Support project closeout, including drawing updates, records management, asset documentation, and continuous improvement
- Promote safety, integrity, inclusion, respect, high performance, and operational excellence
- Work under guidance of senior engineers and technical professionals across project planning, design, procurement, construction, and start-up stages
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
- 2+ years of related engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results across concurrent projects
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to travel and work throughout the United States, mainly the Midwestern states
- Frequent travel of 20–25% required
- Valid driver's license and responsible driving record required
- Ability to perform listed physical requirements, including light to moderate lifting up to 20 pounds
- Ability to meet listed mental and office/field requirements
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without sponsorship now or in the future
- Working towards a Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred
