About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather requirements, design, configure, and support scalable Workday solutions across multiple modules
  • Analyze business needs and perform gap and risk assessments
  • Recommend solutions to improve processes and system performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, integration, and configuration issues
  • Develop and execute testing strategies and validate requirements
  • Support project delivery, releases, and system enhancements
  • Create and maintain documentation, calculated fields, reporting tools, and integration support materials
  • Collaborate with HR, TIS, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Stay current on Workday enhancements, industry best practices, and security trends
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and HR technology initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field
  • 4+ years of techno-functional experience, preferably in HR systems
  • Working knowledge of Workday, including integrations and business impact analysis
  • Understanding of HR processes and systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with process improvement, mapping, and re-engineering techniques
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in collaborative, distributed teams using tools such as Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • ITIL certification (v3 or higher) preferred
  • Experience with HR case management tools such as Neocase preferred
  • CAPM/PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with automation and AI technologies such as RPA, GenAI, and chatbots preferred
  • Agile certification such as Scrum Master preferred
  • Advanced Workday configuration and integration experience preferred
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
