About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical oversight of maintenance capital projects, including cost and budget estimating, material bid specifications, and technical assistance during construction and commissioning.
Make sound technical judgments that are generally accepted as accurate and feasible.
Identify project risks, exposures, and opportunities that may impact project success.
Facilitate communication forums and issue reports on project status and health to management.
Coordinate with external agencies for project development, implementation, and completion, including certification filings and technical responses.
Contribute to strategies and decisions regarding project execution, contractor selection, and performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
4+ years of experience in the oil or gas transmission sector or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated proficiency working with office computer applications such as Microsoft Office Products.
