About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Verify, balance and record crude oil receipts and deliveries for specified assets.
- Issue monthly invoices and statements to customers.
- Compile journal entries for the recording of revenue and associated receivables.
- Verify gain/loss calculations through communication with Customer Service, field personnel and Operations Services.
- Provide government agencies with required monthly and annual regulatory reporting.
- Prepare monthly inventory and other reports for internal and external customers.
- Communicate with shippers, connecting pipelines and internal groups, such as Customer Service, Operations Services, Asset Management and Business Development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A university degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an equivalent combination of accounting or industry related education.
- 2 or more years of comparable proven experience.
- Strong initiative combined with keen attention to detail, excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with personal computer productivity tools and standard business software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Related experience in pipeline operations would be an asset.
