About the role
- Provide regular look-ahead status reporting to Project Managers (PMs) on upcoming deliverables (Gating, Issues Management, Compliance, Operational Readiness, etc.).
- Steward assigned Work Type Management Plans.
- Drive Project Closeout activities after ISD and demobilization (Stage 4 and Stage 5) for assigned projects.
- Ensure various Projects organizational and compliance systems are populated and maintained (Kahua, SharePoint, JIRA, Encompass, Maximo, PACMan, etc.).
- Monitor and support PM’s with inputs to the Weekly Project Status Report.
- Support organizational change management and portfolio optimization initiatives.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings and record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Undertake various project tasks as directed by PMs.
- Support project governance and documentation activities.
- Assist the PMs with utilizing previous lessons learned during project development and capturing new lessons learned realized in project closeout.
- Provide various program support services to the Execution Manager.
- Maintain data and report upon work-type specific KPI’s.
- Receive, respond, and distribute project-specific correspondence and information internally and externally.
- Support ad-hoc reporting to appropriate departments, companies, and agencies.
- Manage third party project stakeholder technology access to Enbridge systems.
- Aid PM’s with Management of Change, Outage planning, and Field Work Management as needed.
- Coordinate project technical deviations including the tracking and resolution of stakeholder requests.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Background in industrial project delivery of various sizes.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Office and Power BI).
- Able to take directions from, and work with, various stakeholders.
- Ability to apply reasoning and analytical abilities to accomplish tasks and projects.
- Ability to handle a heavy workload and work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Customer-focused and solutions-driven mindset.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Ability to travel domestically and within North America.
- Preferred: Technical certificate or degree in Project Management, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
- Five or more years of project-based experience.
- PMP or equivalent certification in Project Management.
