About the role
- Provide environmental technical support to Operations Personnel
- Review and develop procedures, guidance documents, and training programs
- Communicate with cross functional groups, field personnel, waste vendors, and environmental team members
- Develop, participate in, and facilitate environmental training
- Develop and review internal waste plans
- Research and summarize Canadian and US environmental waste regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental sciences, or related fields
- 2-4 years of directly related experience with knowledge and practical experience in the energy industry
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Environmental technical and/or procedural writing skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office products
- Encompass experience is an asset
- Project management skills
- Analytical skills
