Lead root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to solve blade structural problems affecting the Enbridge wind turbine fleet.
Manage all aspects of blade diligence efforts, large inspection, and repair campaigns, including co-leading a team of EIT and student-workers who assist in blade data processing and management.
Develop, review, and approve composite repair designs, repair procedures, and repair best practices.
Engage with original equipment manufacturers, service providers, other Owner-Operators, and consultants to keep abreast of leading industry trends that Power Operations could employ to improve blade reliability.
Provide project management support by planning, implementing, and validating wind turbine blade reliability improvements.
Requirements
You have a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering degree with 10 years of related composites experience.
Expertise in wind turbine blade design, testing, manufacturing, and repair methods.
Self-motivated, independent worker who produces results with minimal guidance.
Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
