About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own new logo acquisition across Houston and adjacent energy markets, building a strong, self-generated pipeline.
- Drive full-cycle enterprise sales, from prospecting and discovery through to deal closure and contract negotiation.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Customer Success and Marketing to unlock expansion and cross-sell opportunities.
- Engage at all levels—from end users to C-suite stakeholders—using a consultative, value-led approach.
- Translate market complexity into opportunity, connecting regional dynamics with broader U.S. energy trends.
- Leverage modern sales tools (Salesforce, CPQ, HubSpot, ZoomInfo) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and execution with discipline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and solution teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and tailored solutions.
- Continuously build market intelligence, identifying emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and new growth segments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of enterprise SaaS or strategic solution sales
- Proven track record of winning new business and consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Deep expertise in the Texas energy market, including ERCOT structures, stakeholders, and commercial dynamics
- Strong understanding of power markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry transformation trends
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex, high-value platforms through a consultative, insight-driven approach
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and influencing senior decision-makers
- Proficiency with Salesforce (including CPQ) and modern sales enablement tools
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a high-performing team
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
