About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks for batch and real-time data processing
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure high-quality, reliable, and governed data
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, enabling self-service analytics across the business
  • Create efficient data models using star and snowflake schemas and implement advanced DAX calculations
  • Integrate analytics solutions with enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms
  • Manage and optimize Databricks clusters for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Implement data governance, security, and row-level security (RLS) to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to align analytics solutions with organisational objectives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data, performance, and reporting issues across analytics platforms
  • Stay up to date with emerging analytics, cloud, and AI/ML technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related
  • Microsoft Certified:Azure Data Engineer Associate/Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional/ Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • 4+ Years experience in Analytics
  • 3+ Years experience with Databricks
  • 4+ years experience with Power BI
  • Experienced in SQL querying, aggregations and optimization
  • ETL/ELT tools experience (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend)
  • Proficient in Azure Cloud Platforms
