About the role
- Manage all phases of construction projects from planning to close-out, coordinating resources, schedules, safety plans, permits, and documentation.
- Lead meetings and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients; provide daily updates and participate in key meetings.
- Support budgeting and cost estimation; track expenses, manage purchase orders, ensure accurate billing and timely payments.
- Identify, onboard, and manage subcontractors; define scopes of work, lead bidding processes, ensure contract compliance and quality standards.
- Coordinate procurement and logistics of materials and equipment; ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
- Champion company processes and quality standards; supervise field teams, perform quality control, and implement continuous improvements.
- Ensure subcontractors understand technical solutions and company expectations; meet training goals and support knowledge sharing.
- Understand and apply Enabled Energy’s mission and core solutions; travel extensively to support projects and collaborate with other managers.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of construction management experience.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Technical proficiency in construction and data center systems.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.
- Skilled in subcontractor coordination and procurement.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, finance, and operations.
- Proactive problem-solving and continuous learning orientation.
- Familiarity with HVAC equipment, controls, building automation (e.g., Niagara Framework), and energy optimization strategies.
- Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with project management tools.
- Use of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers/cutters, drills, etc.).
- Use of specialized power tools (saws, nibblers, impact drivers, etc.).
- Experience running control wire, dressing wire, stripping and landing wire ends, choosing and using proper conduit, fittings, grommets, etc.
- Use of electrical meter to verify conductivity and measure voltage, current, power, power factor, etc.
- Ability to use a computer to configure fans, VFDs, etc.
- Willingness to travel across United States & Canada approximately 70% of the time and spend majority of time at customer sites.
- Preferred: Data Center specific certifications (DCEP, CDCP, etc.).
- Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: HVAC and Mechanical experience a plus.
