About the role

  • Support our field sales team in acquiring new EDEKA & REWE retailers to market our EMSU systems
  • Conduct appointment scheduling, follow-ups and contract closing
  • Manage assigned territories in a structured manner
  • Lead goal-oriented conversations using a telephone script
  • Advise and support customers over the phone
  • Assist the field sales team with appointment coordination and follow-up after meetings
  • Develop and participate in campaigns to grow existing customers
  • Contribute ideas to optimize sales structures and processes
  • Work closely with the field sales, inside sales and marketing teams

Requirements

  • Experience in telephone sales/call center work — cold calling for products that require explanation or consultative selling
  • Comfortable dealing with independent retailers in the grocery/retail sector
  • Persuasive and engaging telephone manner
  • Ability to identify and understand customer needs
  • Very good German language skills
  • Experience with MS Office; experience with CRM software (HubSpot) and DocuSign is desirable
  • Experience in a start-up environment is an advantage but not required
