Talent Acquisition Specialist
EMSTalent Acquisition Specialist sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for healthcare and human services organizations. Collaborating with department heads to ensure timely workforce needs are met.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sourcing, screening, and onboarding qualified candidates to support staffing needs
- Developing and maintaining recruitment pipelines for various positions
- Collaborating with department heads, HR staff, and hiring managers for workforce needs
- Contributing to strategic workforce planning and process improvements in talent acquisition
- Posting job openings and managing applicant tracking systems
- Conducting phone screens, candidate assessments, and interview coordination
- Creating and maintaining candidate pools for key roles
- Managing onboarding and offboarding processes for recruits
- Maintaining a centralized list of approved staffing agencies and coordinating with them
- Supporting payroll unit during onboarding and termination processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- SHRM certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required
- Experience recruiting in healthcare, human services, or nonprofit settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with labor laws and EEO/AA regulations a plus
- Ability to pass background and reference checks.
