About the role
- Design user-centered experiences for web-based workforce management products, including workflows, interactions, and visual interfaces
- Partner with Product Managers to deeply understand problem statements, user pain points, and desired outcomes before proposing design solutions
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and feedback to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma)
- Translate complex workforce management workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with fidelity
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and evolving product requirements
- Contribute to and helps maintain design systems, style guides, and UX standards
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices
- Document design rationale, decisions, and trade-offs with clarity and care
- Participate actively in product discovery, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for design outcomes, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer working on complex web or SaaS products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, problem-solving, and iterative thinking
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, FigJam)
- Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals
- Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback constructively
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality outcomes
- Proficiency in English is necessary for job-related communication
