About the role

  • Empowerly: education technology company providing personalized college and career counseling and a data-driven platform.
  • Remote-first, PST-based, venture-backed company with recent funding and upcoming mobile app launch.
  • Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager role: lead lifecycle marketing program and directly manage a team of four.
  • Design and execute omni-channel strategies (email, SMS, in-app, social, web) guiding families from awareness to enrollment and retention.
  • Build segmentation and personalization strategies, oversee campaign planning, execution, A/B testing, automation, and optimization.
  • Partner with Senior Revenue Strategy Manager and BI/Data Analyst to measure and maximize ROI; collaborate with Head of Events to align campaigns with events and field activations.
  • Drive measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, retention, and develop team processes and professional growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with 2+ years in lifecycle/CRM marketing in a B2C environment (edtech a plus).
  • 2+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead and grow a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated success running omni-channel lifecycle campaigns.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools (Braze, Iterable, Marketo a plus).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Preferred: Advanced education (MBA, Reforge, or equivalent training) a plus.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with SQL, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
  • Preferred: Experience with product marketing (positioning, messaging, GTM launches) and background in education/edtech.
