About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver comprehensive, financial plans that drive measurable outcomes for participants within Empower’s dedicated service model
- Lead proactive, needs-based conversations to uncover client goals and position appropriate Empower products and services that support their objectives
- Provide education and actionable guidance on topics such as managed accounts (My Total Retirement), rollovers, investment allocations, savings strategies, HSAs, and retirement income planning
- Act as an Investment Adviser Representative for Empower Advisory Group, offering tailored investment recommendations and leveraging Empower’s managed account platform
- Document interactions accurately and efficiently using Salesforce and other internal systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience (MBA preferred)
- Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation required
- FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or the 401(k) industry
- At least 2 years of direct financial planning experience
