About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical feasibility assessments and product evaluations based on business needs.
- Provide technical leadership to the team in design finalization, code reviews, production support, and maintenance issue resolution.
- Lead the design and implementation of critical software components and systems.
- Mentor technical members of the team.
- Contribute to the development of coding standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive technical innovation.
- Support significant engineering ownership of complex applications, including design and development of new features, improvements to existing code, code release, deployment, and application maintenance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required.
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in Java, Python, Swift, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Proficiency in multiple technologies and database platforms.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of cloud-based development tools and processes.
- Proven experience designing critical applications that interact with several other internal and external systems.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the software development process in a distributed team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven team player who can mentor other technical members of the team.
