About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a lead technical expert and mentor within the security engineering team
Drive the implementation of advanced security controls
Guide technical decisions and provide subject matter expertise
Ensure excellent customer service for internal and external customers
Manage troubleshooting of Prisma Access for secure remote connectivity
Design, evaluate and implement security related solutions
Ensure team adherence to established change control processes
Collaborate with systems and network engineers
Lead the incident response team
Validate security control coverage based on emerging cyber threat intelligence
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
8-10 years’ experience in information technology or related field within the last 10 years
Palo Alto certification
CCIE Routing and Switching or Security certification
AWS Solutions Architect certification
7+ years of experience with managing security controls
4+ years experience in AWS and Azure cloud operations
6+ years of technical experience working with security solutions
6+ years of network security experience
4+ years web application firewalls
7+ years of experience with network protocols, data flows, and attacks
5+ years of experience in building configurations for security devices
extensive knowledge of security software and related protocols
2+ years experience implementing security measures for Kubernetes
5+ years of experience performing network security administration
3+ years programming/scripting experience (Python, shell)
