Nonqualified Operations Specialist
EmpowerNonqualified Operations Specialist handling participant level transactions for non-qualified retirement accounts. Maintaining quality and efficiency while supporting reporting and wire monitoring tasks.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- accurate and efficient processing and quality review of complex participant level transactions on non-qualified retirement accounts
- support wire monitoring, client reporting and other non-transaction based tasks
- maintain departmental established productivity and quality goals
- process and quality review complex transactions; including owning a designated book of business supporting highly visible and/or complex clients
- identify, raise, and implement improvements to processes
- demonstrate strong work ethic and personal accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (or work experience equivalent) in Business, Finance, or similar field
- 1-2 years of non-qualified plan related experience in operational processing
- Demonstrated understanding of the non-qualified product and industry, including 409a guidelines
- Knowledge of the Empower services, products, policies and procedures and the impact of their processing as it relates to these items
- Demonstrated excellence and attention to detail in complex transaction processing
- Experience conducting quality review
- Advanced decision making and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including formatting, macros and VLookup
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Detail oriented and have analytical ability for in-depth research
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
