About the role
- Design and implement MDM solutions using tools such as Informatica MDM, IBM Infosphere, or similar platforms.
- Develop data models, match and merge rules, and workflows to support master data domains (e.g., customer, product, vendor).
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable MDM solutions.
- Integrate MDM systems with source and target applications using ETL, APIs, or messaging frameworks.
- Ensure data quality through profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Maintain metadata and documentation for MDM processes and data flows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot MDM jobs and services to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Support data governance initiatives by enforcing standards and policies related to master data.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and change management activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in MDM development and implementation
- Proficiency with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM Infosphere, or Talend
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality concepts
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
- Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management.
