About the role

  • Management of team of marketing media professionals
  • Drive brand and social media strategies and evolution for the Personal Wealth and Workplace businesses. While complementary, each has distinct needs that require strategic outlines and implementation strategies
  • Partner closely with the Performance Marketing team and those managing the media mix modeling analytics to quickly pivot and capitalize on data to improve the media plan tactics
  • Identifies short- and long-term trends in vital and dynamic social media channels
  • Develops and refines relevant business strategies to match these trends and a roadmap to deliver on the approved strategies
  • Identify and execute brand strategies to promote our senior leaders in the marketplace to further accentuate the overall Empower brand
  • Support workplace services social media strategies
  • Work closely with marketing communication team to use social media to amplify messaging
  • Measures effectiveness across a variety of dimensions (page views, click-throughs, cross-postings, sentiment measurement, surveys, etc.), refining and optimizing content on a regular basis
  • Manages social listening/engagement programs on behalf of our firm and select clients
  • Responsibility for all digital advertising including social and display advertising. Measurement and refinement of all brand advertising in all mediums

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services
  • FINRA Series 6 and 26 registration(s) required. Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations. FINRA fingerprinting required.
  • Technical expertise in key professional social media outlets, focused but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter, as well as aggregating and posting content via blog
  • Proficient with analytics tools to monitor programs and report progress
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment

  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and technologies.
