About the role
- The Director, Data Analytics will report to the VP Performance & Insights
- Move the organization beyond reporting toward forward-looking performance intelligence - highlighting emerging trends, unlocking growth opportunities, and proactively identifying risks
- Establish clear KPIs and performance frameworks that align advisory, marketing, and product around shared outcomes
- Uncover insights about product and clients through cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and user segmentation
- Analyze marketing and customer acquisition data and deliver data-centric insights and solutions
- Translate analysis into actionable results that guide strategy and day-to-day decision-making
- Develop standardized dashboards and ad hoc reports to inform business decisions, with an emphasis on automation and scalability
- Design and analyze A/B tests to improve KPIs
- Use quantitative analysis and data visualization to communicate insights and recommendations to leadership
- Partner with Data Engineering to improve data tracking and quality and support data warehouse improvements
- Train, coach, and hire a growing team of analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 6 to 12 years of business-focused reporting and analysis experience
- 5+ years of experience managing and growing a team of analysts
- Marketing analytics experience, including knowledge of online and offline channels, terminology, and marketing platforms
- Experience working with Sales, Service, and Business Development
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and drive change across stages of the customer journey
- Strong SQL and Excel skills
- Experience developing and maintaining reports in Tableau or another data visualization tool
- Experience analyzing A/B and multivariate results for campaign and engagement performance
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and stay current on industry analytical trends.
