About the role
- CLAIMS ANALYST I - This is a Casual status role.\n
- Analyzes and reviews claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility\n
- Prepares and maintains reports and records for processing\n
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field\n
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals\n
- Performs a variety of tasks\n
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Requirements
- High school or equivalent related experience 0 - 5 years of expereince\n
- Knowledge of, and the ability to correctly identify, Medicare coverage guidelines\n
- Must have no adverse actions pending or taken against him/her by any State or Federal licensing board or program\n
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence\n
- At least two (2) years of experience using medical terminology and experience in the analysis and processing claims
