About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, train, and develop a Coordinating Department team of up to 10 staff members
- Oversee scheduling, dispatch operations, and client communication activities
- Own departmental performance metrics, quality standards, and customer experience outcomes
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, workflows, and quality-control processes
- Monitor team productivity and provide ongoing coaching and performance management
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new coordinators as the company grows
- Handle escalated client and operational issues while supporting successful resolution
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and increased efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership to support organizational growth initiatives
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and service standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience managing remote employees and distributed teams
- Background in operations, scheduling, dispatch, coordination, customer service, or other client-facing operational environments
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort working within multiple software platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees while maintaining accountability
- Detail-oriented, process-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Previous remote team management experience preferred
- Experience within restoration, environmental testing, construction, field services, or related industries strongly preferred
