About the role
- Responsible for the delivery of the website experience, SEO and conversion web product vision and its success.
- Translate website strategic growth goals (organic traffic, lead generation, conversion improvements) into a clear web product deliverables roadmap.
- Drive web product discovery for features and initiatives on the roadmap.
- Build world-class web products to scale organic growth e.g. AI search/GEO, programmatic SEO, product-led growth (SEO/GEO) builds, global expansion, web performance improvements etc.
- Ensure roadmap execution always ties to measurable growth impact.
- Monitor and adapt web product vision and roadmap to constraints while staying aligned with vision.
- Own the delivery cycle for website projects end-to-end, from scoping to release.
- Maintain and prioritise the backlog, ensuring alignment with growth marketing priorities and user needs.
- Drive sprint ceremonies and ensure the squad is delivering against roadmap commitments.
- Balance strategic initiatives, stakeholder expectations (inbound requests), and customer needs against what can feasibly be delivered, making trade-offs based on impact and resourcing.
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for engineering and design while applying a strategic mindset.
- Represent the customer and business during sprint planning and release prioritisation decisions.
- Partner with SEO and Conversion teams to bring their initiatives into the roadmap, ensuring they are delivered efficiently.
- Collaborate with UX/UI/Web Designers to deliver high-quality website experiences through best-in-class designs that drive engagement and growth.
- Work closely with the Engineers to align on feasibility, capacity planning, QA, and delivery of the designed solutions.
- Work with the data experts to produce insights with clear visibility into website performance towards our goals; enabling data-driven decisions on priorities, iterations, and roadmap planning.
- Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Product, UX, senior leadership) on website priorities, alignment, and resourcing.
- Represent the website product/engineering squad in leadership forums, ensuring dependencies with other squads are unblocked.
- Define success metrics for all website initiatives in collaboration with the website, SEO and Conversion lead and managers.
- Monitor data analytics, performance and experiment results to inform new iterations and future priorities.
- Drive a culture of testing, iteration, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Continuously optimise workflows and delivery processes for greater velocity and impact, particularly through the adoption of AI.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (Business Systems, IT or Engineering disciplines preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in growth product management, ideally with exposure to growth, SEO or conversion-focused initiatives. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
- 3+ years working experience with software development teams using agile.
- Innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving and user-centric design.
- Proven success leading and coordinating cross-functional squads of engineers, data analysts, designers, marketing, sales, customer and product stakeholders in an agile environment.
- Possess a growth-mindset with strong knowledge/interest in growth levers, particularly SEO and CRO, and how they integrate into web product delivery.
- Experience working on large-scale websites, CMS platforms, or programmatic SEO builds is strongly preferred.
- Background in marketplaces or B2B/B2C SaaS strongly preferred.
- Analytical and data-driven (both qualitative and quantitative), with a proven ability to produce sensible insights to measure impact and make prioritisation decisions based on evidence. Strong attention to detail is required.
- Proven commercially acumen, able to balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.
- Technically sound and able to support the team in prioritising tech debt reduction, bugs and new features in conjunction with the web product vision and roadmap.
- Excellent communicator, able to explain priorities and progress to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Able to write well-defined specifications to clearly communicate expected product outcomes.
- Adaptable and self-driven: able to navigate uncertainty, challenge the status quo, adjust plans when needed, and unblock progress quickly while thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- You’re deeply motivated to harness AI, automation and emerging technologies like machine learning to improve efficiency, consistency, and impact at scale.
- Experience validating ideas and generating user feedback through different customer research methodologies.
