About the role
- Support the administration of a robust advocacy program at the local government and community levels.
- Track all city and county activities, including attending or viewing city/commission meetings.
- Identify and relay agenda items of interest to Emory.
- Serve as OGCA's lead liaison to government and community outreach activities.
- Coordinate stewardship opportunities (meetings, tours, events, webinars, etc.).
- Clearly communicate with leadership on a consistent basis regarding local affairs matters.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in program/project administration or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong understanding of, and relationships with, local government and civic leaders is required.
