About the role
- Assisting the Director of Sports Medicine with coordination and delivery of high-quality sports medicine services to all intercollegiate student-athletes at Emory University.
- Performing tasks with minimal or no supervision.
- Collaborating with the Director of Sports Medicine and Team Physicians for clinical oversight and delivery of sports medicine services.
- Overseeing daily clinical operations and the delivery of care in the sports medicine department.
- Managing all medical records and insurance procedures.
- Educating student-athletes about injury prevention, nutrition, and psychological support in dealing with injuries.
- Coordinating and maintaining oversight of all student athlete medical referrals.
Requirements
- A master's degree and three years of related experience.
- Current NATABOC certification and eligibility for licensure in the state of Georgia.
- Ability to work effectively and independently with students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members.
- Successful candidates will possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
