About the role
- Manages all aspects of the Volunteer Emory (VE) program, providing the Emory community with service opportunities.
- Provides leadership to University-wide working groups and committees on Community Engagement.
- Initiates and manages intentional, strategic partnerships within and outside of the Emory community.
- Manages all aspects of a $200,000 budget for community engagement initiatives.
- Supports the integration of community engagement into programs throughout the Office and Division.
- Engages faculty in social justice and community engagement initiatives.
- Oversees administration and operations for all student engagement and community-facing initiatives for the department.
Requirements
- A master's degree in student personnel, higher education administration, counseling, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in the field of student activities.
- Experience advising student organizations preferred.
- Experience with students in theological or religious education preferred.
- Strategic planner with attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Experience and aptitude in management and analysis of numerical data.
- Appreciation of the nature of the ordained ministry and the ministry of the laity.
