About the role
- Supports student well-being and degree completion by overseeing developmental programs and case management
- Co-creates, implements, and assesses programs that promote academic success and personal development
- Leads and evaluates orientation and transition programs for students and their families
- Serves as a liaison for student clubs representing global, cultural, and identity-based communities
- Collaborates with campus and academic partners to design workshops, events, and leadership opportunities
- Maintains accurate documentation using appropriate student support systems in compliance with institutional and legal standards
- Advances proactive outreach, early-alert systems, and follow-up processes to support student retention and success
- Participates on institutional committees and cross-divisional initiatives focused on student engagement, transition, and retention.
Requirements
- A master's degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or related field
- Three years of professional experience in higher education or student support
- Demonstrated involvement in student development or advising
- Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
