About the role

  • Supports student well-being and degree completion by overseeing developmental programs and case management
  • Co-creates, implements, and assesses programs that promote academic success and personal development
  • Leads and evaluates orientation and transition programs for students and their families
  • Serves as a liaison for student clubs representing global, cultural, and identity-based communities
  • Collaborates with campus and academic partners to design workshops, events, and leadership opportunities
  • Maintains accurate documentation using appropriate student support systems in compliance with institutional and legal standards
  • Advances proactive outreach, early-alert systems, and follow-up processes to support student retention and success
  • Participates on institutional committees and cross-divisional initiatives focused on student engagement, transition, and retention.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, or related field
  • Three years of professional experience in higher education or student support
  • Demonstrated involvement in student development or advising
  • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
