About the role
- Directs and supervises human resources programs for a university division
- Manages the program for national recruitment of new employees
- Serves as liaison with the University Human Resources Division, Office of Equal Opportunity Programs, and Faculty/Staff Assistance Program
- Consults with supervisors and managers regarding staffing needs
- Assesses training needs and plans and implements a comprehensive program for training and developing staff
- Reports to divisional head or divisional operations head
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
- Seven years of human resources experience encompassing multiple specialties
- Five years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Certification as a Senior Human Resources Professional is preferred
