About the role

  • Directs and supervises human resources programs for a university division
  • Manages the program for national recruitment of new employees
  • Serves as liaison with the University Human Resources Division, Office of Equal Opportunity Programs, and Faculty/Staff Assistance Program
  • Consults with supervisors and managers regarding staffing needs
  • Assesses training needs and plans and implements a comprehensive program for training and developing staff
  • Reports to divisional head or divisional operations head

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
  • Seven years of human resources experience encompassing multiple specialties
  • Five years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Certification as a Senior Human Resources Professional is preferred
