Direct strategic planning, development, and implementation of Schwartz Center programs and initiatives.
Oversee event production, venue and building scheduling, and facilities operations for the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.
Coordinate with external agencies, arts faculty, rental clients, and university departments on performances, ceremonies, and events.
Supervise Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Technical Coordinator, and Operations Assistant; facilitate production meetings.
Manage contracts and execute rider requirements; arrange travel, catering, and backstage hospitality for guest artists.
Create and manage annual event schedules for over 100 events, maintain online production calendar, and compile season planning materials.
Oversee facility and equipment maintenance, upgrades, and major projects; represent SCPA on campus committees.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in field related to specific program and five years program-related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Master's degree preferred.
At least five years experience working in event production in a performing arts or theater setting.
Experience supervising staff.
Experience with event production, scheduling, contract riders, vendor coordination, and facilities operations.
Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to manage online production calendars and cross-departmental scheduling.
