About the role
- Leads and supervises all staff performing pre-award activities for the sponsored projects research portfolio
- Provides guidance and mentorship to team members
- Performs pre-award activities including developing budgets and compiling proposal contents
- Ensures strong levels of customer service to faculty and departments served
- Monitors workload distribution and redistributes tasks as appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years work-related grants and contracts experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of federal rules and regulations relating to research grant and/or contract activity
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite software
- Health insurance
