About the role

  • Manage group consolidation of financial reporting for 25+ entities, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
  • Coordinate audit planning and liaise with external auditors.
  • Mentor and lead a team of group accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop, implement and enhance internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Improve existing accounting processes and increase efficiency through automation and process improvements.
  • Work closely with other finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Act as a proactive member of our entrepreneurial culture by sharing your financial leadership and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in audit or group accounting, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB/German GAAP.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record in team development.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A team player with a "can-do" attitude who embraces our "One Team, One Dream" philosophy.
  • A professional qualification (e.g., StB, WP, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
