  • Lead and grow a 70+ person engineering team across 5 domains.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, business-impacting software at scale.
  • Drive continuous improvement, incident management, and reliability.
  • Partner with Product and Data to align tech strategy with company goals.
  • Mentor and develop managers and senior engineers, raising the bar for leadership and execution.
  • Oversee IT & InfoSec as part of the wider tech scope.

Requirements

  • Proven track record leading large engineering organizations (50+ people).
  • Experience in tech-enabled companies, ideally e-commerce, retail, or supply chain.
  • Strong technical foundation and history as a software engineer.
  • Experience with scaling platforms, integrations, and incident management.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex tech into business impact.
  • Based in Portugal or Germany (Lisbon or Frankfurt preferred), with flexibility for remote work.
