About the role
- Partner with the business to achieve strategic objectives with a view to maximising commercialism
- Maintain acute awareness of significant financial risks/sensitives/drivers and their status, anticipate requirements for analysis and proactively offer reliable analysis/insights to drive and support commercial decision making
- Prepare management reporting, providing clear insightful commentary, identifying trends, emerging issues, and drivers of assigned business unit performance to all key stakeholders
- Produce budget and reforecast information, working with business unit managers to ensure that revised assumptions and figures are aligned, reasonable and meet objectives
- Prepare reports that meet the presentation, information, and quality requirements for the Board/Executive
Requirements
- More than 2+ years demonstrated experience in a similar business partnering role, working within a fast-paced business environment
- Previous role working in the analysis of data and identification of trends and anomalies
- Experience in insurance would be highly regarded
- Exposure to BI systems and tools (preferred)
- Adept at using budgeting, forecasting and general ledger systems
- CA or CPA Qualified
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Advanced Excel (able to utilise complex formulae to build efficient and flexible models/reports
