About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organizational strategy for mechanical parts and assemblies
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements across global supply chain networks
- Achieve cost savings and trade working capital improvements through negotiations, eSourcing, supplier selection, and short- and long-term strategies
- Lead projects within assigned commodities
- Support annual financial planning cycles
- Manage diverse supplier groups, improve KPIs, and negotiate contracts
- Assist with strategic operations and supply chain projects and initiatives
- Support and mentor Associate Commodity Managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Five (5) or more years of supply chain experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical parts
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided
- Travel up to 15% domestic and international
- Commodity management experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
