About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create, maintain, and continuously improve Engineering Master (EM) documents that define the standard product configurations of both existing and new products.
Manage product structure data in Oracle including EM picks, Part Numbers, Engineering & Sales BOMs, Nameplate values and descriptive elements values.
Drive ETO-CTO conversion initiatives by identifying frequently ordered customer configurations and standardizing them into scalable product offerings.
Support new product introductions, sustaining engineering activities, and operational projects through effective product structure implementation and maintenance.
Collaborate with Design Engineers, Product Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Application Engineers, Order Entry, Manufacturing… to balance their requirements and develop effective and sustainable EM solutions.
Communicate closely with Product Engineers, Marketing and Product Modeling team to ensure timely and accurate implementation of engineering changes in Fisher First 2 (FF2).
Investigate product structure configuration and data integrity issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.
Implement EM and Oracle related Engineering Change Requests (ECRN).
Utilize data analysis, automation and business intelligence tools to assist with product structuring decisions and enhance efficiency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automation or a related engineering discipline
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Basic analytical skills and interest in data analysis, process improvement, and digital technologies
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong understanding of product structures, and Control Valve engineering fundamentals
Knowledge of data analytics and digital tools such as SQL, Power BI or Power Query
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment
