About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, maintain, and continuously improve Engineering Master (EM) documents that define the standard product configurations of both existing and new products.
- Manage product structure data in Oracle including EM picks, Part Numbers, Engineering & Sales BOMs, Nameplate values and descriptive elements values.
- Drive ETO-CTO conversion initiatives by identifying frequently ordered customer configurations and standardizing them into scalable product offerings.
- Support new product introductions, sustaining engineering activities, and operational projects through effective product structure implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers, Product Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Application Engineers, Order Entry, Manufacturing… to balance their requirements and develop effective and sustainable EM solutions.
- Communicate closely with Product Engineers, Marketing and Product Modeling team to ensure timely and accurate implementation of engineering changes in Fisher First 2 (FF2).
- Investigate product structure configuration and data integrity issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.
- Implement EM and Oracle related Engineering Change Requests (ECRN).
- Utilize data analysis, automation and business intelligence tools to assist with product structuring decisions and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automation or a related engineering discipline
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Basic analytical skills and interest in data analysis, process improvement, and digital technologies
- Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong understanding of product structures, and Control Valve engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of data analytics and digital tools such as SQL, Power BI or Power Query
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment
