About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and validate commercial and technical customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established engineering standards and procedures.
Verify product selections, options, accessories, and special requirements to ensure compatibility with product configurations and customer applications.
Evaluate specification sheets, engineering documents, and product bulletins to ensure selected products meet service and application requirements.
Coordinate with Sales offices, manufacturing sites, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial order issues.
Create and maintain product structures and configurations to support customer-specific requirements.
Review pricing accuracy for special constructions and customized solutions.
Respond promptly to order-related inquiries and provide technical clarification when required.
Support backlog management and critical business requirements to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, productivity, and order quality.
Escalate unresolved issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Order Engineering, Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, commercial documents, and product bulletins.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
