About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and validate commercial and technical customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established engineering standards and procedures.
- Verify product selections, options, accessories, and special requirements to ensure compatibility with product configurations and customer applications.
- Evaluate specification sheets, engineering documents, and product bulletins to ensure selected products meet service and application requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales offices, manufacturing sites, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial order issues.
- Create and maintain product structures and configurations to support customer-specific requirements.
- Review pricing accuracy for special constructions and customized solutions.
- Respond promptly to order-related inquiries and provide technical clarification when required.
- Support backlog management and critical business requirements to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, productivity, and order quality.
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Order Engineering, Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, commercial documents, and product bulletins.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
