About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation for configured products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Develop general arrangement drawings (GADs) and collaborate with automation teams to support configured and automated valve solutions.
- Support manufacturing validation activities and resolve technical challenges on the shop floor.
- Deliver engineering documentation within defined timelines, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Support product selection and quoting teams with part selection and technical clarifications.
- Continuously improve documentation quality, processes, and turnaround times.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving business requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with engineering documentation such as bills of materials, drawings, or product configuration.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems (e.g., Enovia or similar tools).
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and design calculations.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, LN BaaN, or similar).
- Awareness of international engineering and industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to collaborate with global teams across time zones.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in manufacturing or shop floor environments.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in industrial products.
